The all-new AR45 is an upgraded 45mm mid-depth aero carbon road rim that balances aerodynamic speed gains, climbing-friendly lightweight performance and versatile all-road capability. Dimensions & Specifications

Built with industry-standard 25mm internal width and 30.94mm external width, the AR45 forms a seamless U-shaped aerodynamic profile when paired with 28C–32C tyres. The optimized 45mm rim depth delivers notable drag reduction and higher top speed on flats and rolling terrain, while retaining meaningful lightweight advantages. Built to standard 700C sizing, it fits all modern road frames and disc brake systems. Based on market research and rider feedback, this rim is available in multiple spoke hole configurations: 18H, 20H, 21H, 24H, 28H and 32H.

Two Weight Variants for All Riding Requirements

Two factory-calibrated weight options are offered to accommodate riders of different weights, everyday training and competitive racing:

Ultralight Version: 345±10g (Max rider weight: 100kg) 

Constructed with a lightweight carbon layup to deliver minimal mass and responsive pedaling feel. It delivers snappier acceleration on climbs and sharper sprint reaction, ideal for lightweight riders and custom race wheel builds.

Standard Version: 370±10g (Max rider weight: 130kg) 

Features a reinforced carbon layup with improved load capacity and impact resistance.

Perfect for high-intensity daily training, century endurance rides and heavier riders.

The AR45 supports 18H / 20H / 21H / 24H / 28H / 32H configurations, covering ultra-light low-spoke race builds, all-purpose wheelsets and high-stability heavy-load assemblies. Whether you prioritize minimum weight or maximum structural stability, there is a suitable setup available.

Professional Lacing Drill Patterns (1:1 / 2:1 / G3)

To resolve common issues including uneven spoke tension, rim deformation and power loss caused by varied hub designs, the AR45 is pre-drilled for three professional lacing geometries to tune front and rear wheel performance for every riding scenario.

1:1 Symmetrical Drilling

The preferred pattern for front wheels. Front rims experience no drivetrain torque; symmetrical hole layout enables balanced spoke tension on both sides, maintaining consistent roundness and even lateral stiffness. Optimized for stable straight-line cruising and classic symmetric wheel builds. The rim resists long-term truing shift and reduces maintenance adjustments.

2:1 Asymmetrical Drilling(Rear-Wheel Exclusive)

An optimized tension-balanced geometry designed for rear wheels. More spokes are arranged on the drive side to distribute torsional loads from power transfer. This minimizes rim twist under hard pedaling, boosts stiffness and improves long-term durability under heavy loads. Highly recommended for lightweight rear builds such as 21H and 24H. Compared with the 1:1 pattern, it narrows the tension gap between drive and non-drive sides, preventing under-tensioned non-drive spokes from loosening and causing wheel wobble over time.

G3 Racing Geometry (Rear-Wheel Exclusive)

Derived from top-tier road race wheel engineering, this layout is optimized for wide-flange rear hubs. It significantly reduces the tension differential between drive and non-drive sides and delivers improved stress distribution during pedaling. Extra spokes on the drive side enhance torsional rigidity for direct power transfer. Tension remains stable during sustained sprints and steep climbing efforts, making this pattern the premium choice for competitive riders seeking ultimate power feedback.

The AR45 supports fully personalised wheel builds. Compatible with both carbon and steel spokes, it works with most mainstream road bicycle hubs. Every rim undergoes strict quality checks for roundness, tension uniformity and impact resistance to guarantee consistent reliability.
