1. The Core Question: Valve Length

2. Material
Aluminum: Lightweight, stylish, and strong. The best all-around choice for most riders. Often come in colors (black, silver, red) for a custom look.
Brass: Heavier, extremely durable, and corrosion-resistant. Ideal for wet/winter conditions or where ultimate strength is needed.
3. Essential Accessories
Valve Caps (Dust Caps): Keep dirt and moisture out of the valve core. Plastic is fine, metal is sleek.
Valve Stem Nuts (collar): Help secure the valve, preventing it from being pushed into deep rims during pumping. Don't overtighten – finger-tight is enough.
Pump Head Compatibility: Any modern bike pump with a Presta setting or universal head will work. Ensure the head can accommodate long valves if needed.
Pro Tip: When in doubt about length, go longer. You can manage excess length with nuts , but a valve that's too short is unusable.

Step-by-Step Installation
1. Prepare the Valve Hole
Ensure your rim is properly taped. The tape should be smooth, evenly applied, and completely cover the rim bed's spoke holes.

2. Prepare the Valve
Unscrew Valve Stem Nuts ,Valve Capsand o-ring.
3. Install the Valve Body
Push the valve stem firmly through the valve hole from the inside of the rim. This creates a clean, tight seal.
Put the o-ring on, screw the collar onto the stem (with the concave base facing the o-ring), and ensure the collar is secure. You can push down on the rubber end with your thumb as you tighten the collar. If successful, the rubber base should mushroom out and seal the rim.
Key Tip: Apply pressure straight down. Do not angle it.
Once the tip protrudes from the outside of the rim, pull it through gently
until the rubber base sits flush and snug against the inside of the rim bed.
4 Secure the Valve& Final Steps
Screw the valve core back in firmly using your fingers,to prevent gas leakage and maintain stable pressure.
Optional but Recommended: Dampen a rag with rubbing alcohol and wipe down the valve base area on the rim. This removes any oils and ensures your tire bead will seat cleanly.
