Featuring a 20-hole hooked design, 38mm rim depth and contemporary 25mm internal width, the R25-38 achieves an ideal balance of agility, aerodynamic efficiency and ride comfort. It performs brilliantly across varied conditions: steep climbs, flat-road breakaways, 100km endurance events and weekend race sprints. The 285g Flyweight variant offers razor-sharp sprint responsiveness, whereas the 310g Standard version delivers dependable performance for regular high-intensity training. 1.Aero Performance -Faster With Less Effort

 

Once inflated, tyres usually expand 2–4mm beyond their marked width, forming a seamless U-shaped contour matching the rim’s 30.94mm external width. This smooth transition lets air flow closely along the tyre and rim surface, significantly lowering turbulence and vortex drag.

 

2.Handing -Confident Cornering with Reliable Grip

Wider rims paired with wide tyres create an expanded, flatter contact patch to enhance lateral traction. The tyre stays stable without unwanted squirming, notably on wet roads and tight corners. The 25mm internal width supports 28C–32C tyres with uniform sidewall deflection. It prevents the mushroom-shaped bulge common with narrow rims and raises lateral stiffness through corners, letting riders lean further with greater confidence.

 

3.Comfort-Smooth Long -Distance Riding

Thanks to the wide rim-tyre system, riders can safely run lower pressures (70–75 PSI for 28C tyres, 60–65 PSI for 32C tyres). The tyre acts as natural suspension to absorb small road vibrations and gravel shocks. On gravel, worn asphalt and cobblestones, this setup filters around 15–20% of high-frequency vibration. Your hands, back and neck remain less fatigued even after 100km rides, making tough endurance rides far more enjoyable. Running reduced pressure also cuts the risk of pinch flats when striking potholes, and lessens sidewall damage for tubeless setups, boosting overall wheel durability.
