Drawback: Slightly inferior peak aerodynamic performance compared to the 50mm variant during sustained high-speed cruising. Rim Weights: Ultralight version 345±10g | Standard version 370±10g.
AR25-50 | 50mm Mid-Deep Profile
Advantages: The deeper aerodynamic profile provides greater aerodynamic benefits, helping reduce power demands on flat roads and rolling terrain. The higher stiffness provides greater stability during high-speed sprints. Compatible with 28C–50C wide tires, supporting gravel and cyclocross riding. Drawback: Marginally higher rim weight creates greater inertia on sustained steep climbs; greater sensitivity to crosswinds in windy or coastal conditions compared with the AR25-45.
